Lemoore, CA – Central Union Grange #559 is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Spring Gift Card Raffle, an event dedicated to supporting our vital scholarship, Words for Thirds, and other community service projects. This year, participants have the chance to win an assortment of gift cards from beloved local and national businesses, including Macy’s, Home Depot, Walmart, various restaurants, and more. The Spring Gift Card Raffle stands as a testament to our commitment to enriching our community and supporting education through our scholarship programs. The Words for Thirds dictionary donation initiative, a cornerstone project of the Grange, aims to increase literacy and foster a love of reading among third graders in our community.

RAFFLE TICKET DISCLAIMER
Please read the following terms and conditions before purchasing raffle tickets from Central Union Grange #559, a non-profit organization registered in the State of California.
- Eligibility: Participation is open only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age.
- Ticket Purchase: Raffle tickets are $2.00 each, without any limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased by an individual. Tickets are non-refundable, including for those participants who wish to withdraw from the raffle prior to the drawing date.
- Prize Details: Prizes are as described in promotional materials; substitutions are not allowed. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash unless specified. The organization is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or prizes.
- Drawing: The drawing will take place at Hickey Park, 16850 Flint Ave, Hanford, CA 93230, on May 18, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners will be notified by contact details provided during the ticket purchase. If unable to reach a winner within 30 days, a new draw will be conducted.
- Tax Obligations: All winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges, including income taxes based on the value of the prizes.
- Compliance with Laws: This raffle is conducted in compliance with California Penal Code Section 320.5. This raffle is registered with the State of California and is conducted under the provisions applicable to non-profit organizations as stipulated by local, state, and federal law.
- No Warranty: Central Union Grange #559 provides no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the prizes provided.
- Liability: By participating in the raffle, each participant agrees to release and hold harmless Central Union Grange #559, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the raffle or receipt or use and/or misuse of any prize.
- Publicity: By participating, winners grant permission for their name, photograph, and likeness to be used for promotional purposes by Central Union Grange #559 without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
- Cancellation: Central Union Grange #559 reserves the right to cancel the raffle at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or if deemed necessary by the board of directors in accordance with state law.
