Dear friends, readers, and kind-hearted people everywhere,
My guest today, TyRon Jackson—the founder of Operation Warm Wishes—poured out his heart in a way that moved me deeply, and I know it will move you too. As we approach Christmas 2025, TyRon shared stories that no one should have to live through, especially not innocent children. | TV | GIVE
Right now, there are families—real families with small children—living in their cars. One family reached out in desperation after the organization meant to help them was unavailable. TyRon and his team stepped in immediately and got them into a motel for shelter. But there are more. Every single day, TyRon gets calls from families sleeping in vehicles, from social workers, police officers, and school principals begging for help.
He told me, with raw emotion in his voice: “It’s not fair to the kids, Corey. It’s not fair to the kids that we have children living in their cars—especially at Christmas.”
Imagine a child waking up at 3 a.m., scared to even tell their mom or dad they need to use the restroom because everything feels so unsafe. The only time a kid should ever sleep in a car around Christmas is on the way to Grandma’s house, not because they have nowhere else to go.
TyRon knows this pain personally. He was homeless as a teenager, moving motel to motel every 28 days, eating cup noodles, carrying the heavy burden of his parents’ struggles on top of his own teenage challenges. He told me he now understands why he went through it: so he could be the one to break the cycle for today’s youth.
And he is breaking it—every day. Operation Warm Wishes doesn’t just put a band-aid on the problem. They clean the wound, heal the infection, educate, and truly make lives better. But right now, they are stretched to the limit.
The funds from their recent fundraiser are almost gone because they’ve helped so many. Currently, five families are depending on Operation Warm Wishes to keep them out of their cars this holiday season. TyRon’s urgent goal is to raise $10,000 immediately—before Christmas Day—to get these families into motels, to give them warmth, safety, and a real holiday.
He said it plainly: “I do not want a single child living in their car during Christmas.”
Friends, this is where we come in. I’m asking you—no, I’m pleading with you—on behalf of TyRon and these families: please open your hearts and give today.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to sheltering these families, feeding them, and giving children the Christmas they deserve.
Operation Warm Wishes is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and they need our help right now.

Let’s come together and make sure no child spends Christmas in a car. Let’s give these families hope, warmth, and a fresh start.
From the bottom of my heart—and TyRon’s—thank you for whatever you can give. Together, we can make this Christmas one of true warmth and wishes come true. | DONATE
